Knack Parenting is the online companion to Knack Magazine, an East Valley contemporary parenting magazine. Made Better worked as a contractor with Drawbackwards, creating XHTML/CSS templates for Expression Engine, installing and customizing Expression Engine and working with fellow contractors to create custom development and content for the website. Search engine marketing included researching niche markets, comparative competitor analysis, keyword research, meta tag generation, and analytics implementation. During the first month of SEO Knack Parenting had little traction as a newly created website, due to the optimization Made Better provided the site was able to attain over 5,000 unique visitors in it’s first month alone. Over eighty-four percent of this traffic was generated using search engines and search engine marketing techniques.
